Corvette Homecoming
The National Corvette Homecoming is an annual summer event to celebrate the rich heritage of AMerica's Sports Car. Since 1981, the event hosts a variety of activities including car shows, seminars, workshops, vendors, a police escorted Road Tour through the beautiful countryside, lots of awards, fun, food and music. If you own a Corvette or are thinking about getting one, the Corvette Homecoming event is a must see. They even have a “For Sale Corral” where many Corvettes are bought and sold. National Corvette Museum
Since the Grand Opening in September, 1994, the National Corvette Museum has become the official custodian of “Everything Corvette”. In 2008, the facility was complimented with an expansion project which doubled the square footage to over 110,000 square feet full of Corvettes of all types. Race cars, Pace cars, Vintage and experimentals are all on display along with futuristic concept cars. Bowling Green Sites
The beautiful City of Bowling Green was organized all the way back in 1798 and much of its historic charm has endured throughout the years. Most every retail outlet is represented and hundreds of restaurants and eateries abound. The restored Train Depot and museum, Kentucky Museum, and many other places of interest will entertain you during any visit. GM's Corvette Assembly Plant is also open for tours but it is highly suggested to check their schedule prior to your visit.
